About Us
Motivation
GTSC was founded in October 2023 with the goal of breaking the speed of sound with a fixed wing UAV built by students. In order to reach this goal and provide our members with valuable experience along the way, we have created vehicle programs that span all aspects of aircraft design and application, from high-speed cruise to high-g loads, GTSC students are prepared to design multiple different configurations of aircraft in the future. We aim for our students to be at the forefront of aircraft design for years to come.

Approach
Understanding the complexities of high-speed aircraft design, our workflow and structure has been developed in a way that not only builds aircraft quickly, but allows our students to learn and transfer knowledge as they graduate. Our teams span 5 technical disciplines, related to both the engineering and the business side of an aircraft's development, allowing GTSC students to see all facets of what goes into not only designing the aircraft, but the logistics to make this possible and the "machine that builds the machine".
